This Tuesday during the World Breast Cancer Week, the Dexeus Mujer and the Dr. Rosell Oncology Institute have organized the “Women’s Health. Together Against Breast Cancer” meeting which will be held throughout the day in the Dexeus Mujer Auditorium located at Sabino Arana, 34 1º Izq. Barcelona from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

On the sidelines of the busy scheduled program, the aim is to raise awareness of this disease. In 2018 a total of 32.825 people in Spain were affected by Breast Cancer and the vast majority (98%) were women. It is estimated that 1 out of every 8 women will suffer from this disease throughout their lives according to data from the Asociación Española Contra el Cancer AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer).

The Women’s Health Day also aims to improve the physical and emotional well-being of patients and assist them throughout the process. Journalist Laia Ferrer will moderate the session.

The Ricky Rubio Foundation, who has collaborated intensely with the two promoters, the Dexeus Mujer and Dr. Rosell Oncology, joins the announcement of this event (limited seats) and takes a stand against Breast Cancer.
